If you are thinking of creating a web design business customers to explore available on the Internet, web hosting services are crucial to ensure that your site is always visible to the target customers. The web hosting server ensures there are no problems in presenting a good web presence without having to face many technical problems.

A dedicated server web hosting means that the server is completely yours, you are not sharing the same machine with other websites. This is contrary to shared servers that allow many websites share the hard disk and band width, and is not considered as a good option for accommodation.

There are many benefits associated with having a dedicated server for your website:

First, you have the complete security of your website and no web masters using the same space on the server. Second, because the server is dedicated to your website, there is a huge amount of storage space available for images, web pages, and many other features.

With the web server dedicated hosting, you have greater bandwidth for data transfer. This implies that your website is able to cope with the increasing amount of customer traffic without competing intensely with other sites, such as when the shared server is used.

Another notable advantage of having a dedicated server web hosting is that it allows more choices of software and scripts. A dedicated server has a larger amount of storage capacity, eliminating the need to change the coding.

However, you should pay attention to costs as well. A disadvantage server dedicated web hosting is that everything is expensive as are all the specialized servers. But sometimes shared servers become costly due to high cost increase due to all the features that are free and leave your credit card in the red.

If you are looking for cheap hosting websites, visit many sites of web hosting providers and compare their individual rates and different packages. To reduce costs, you can consider web hosting company to provide the domain name and also the ease of creating new domain name registrations. For your domain registration site in the future it will be necessary to add subdomains. In this way, you can cut the overall costs of maintaining your website on the Internet.

Therefore, you must have these aspects of dedicated web hosting server as benefits in mind if you are planning to hire a server for online business site to increase the amount of traffic it.

What Is Web Hosting or Web Hosting?

One of the most common questions when it begins in the world of Internet, has to do with the meaning of the term Web Hosting. Its definition in Spanish immediately refers us to a kind of accommodation within the network. We’re basically right, it is a service that allows host the pages of a web site on a server with access from the Internet, so that information becomes available to the general public.

When deciding to hire a Web hosting service, beginners require a domain name that will allow your page to be unique and generate confidence in your visitors. Both services can be paid annually together or deferred payments. If this is your case, you must look at the features that offers the hosting company such as reliability, platform type, available space, monthly transfer space, the amount of email accounts, among others.

The most common forms of Web Hosting three. The cheapest is the ‘Shared Hosting’, where several people can host your website automatically reducing the cost of service.

Another embodiment are the ‘Virtual Private Servers’, which are used in order to have more privacy, better performance and better security while also ensuring good resources of RAM, processor, etc. Finally, there are the ‘Dedicated Servers’ whose entire income of a server ensures higher performance, optimal operating facilities and high reliability by its users.

Among the platforms offered for this service, and the choice depends directly on the needs that have the contractor you are: Web based hosting Windows and Linux based hosting Web. Both have specific characteristics that you should consult before deciding which type of hosting hire for your page.

Colocation Hosting or Dedicated Server? Which One?

June 12, 2018
I’d found this question quite silly the first time I saw someone to ask it in any web hosting forums. Then I realized that I have spent too much time in the hosting industry and that my perception about what’s important and what’s not does not work when it comes to to certain issues. I have also remembered that it was very hard for me back in 2002 to choose whether to stay on a dedicated server or to buy my own machine.

Many people who have a lot of web sites and need resources ask themselves “Should I get a dedicated server or to colocate my own machine”. It is important to have an aswer on this because the right one would save one a lot of money. So lets say a few things about Dedicated Server Hosting and Colocation Hosting.

Colocation and Dedicated Hosting – Advantages and Disadvantages

When people buy a dedicated server, they get a certain amount of resources on a physical machine, which is leased exclusively to them. However the user does not own the physical server and it is their for as long as they pay a monthly fee. As anyone would assume the servers cost money and web hosting providers calculate the upfront costs they have on purchasing server into the dedicated hosting customer’s monthly bill. This is fair!

So the monthly costs of having a dedicated server are significantly higher than those for Colocation. However when someone wants to colocate a server they need to buy their own machine first! So unlike Dedicated Hosting, the Colocation requires the server owner to face upfront costs of ownership.

Dedicated Hosting definitely offers more flexibility to the user unlike Colocation. Anyone who got a dedicated server on monthly contract, could replace or upgrade the machine, if the hosted applications require more resources. The user just switches to another dedicated server or web hoster takes care of the upgrade. In colocation the server owners should order and install the parts on their own (or to pay for a remote hands to a data center technician). If the server owner has chosen a hardware redundant server and if the data center in which the machine is housed is located in the same area, the owners could do replacement on their own. Otherwise they need a technician to work on the machine.

So we can consider Dedicated Server Hosting as a type of hosting service which provides more flexibility to the customer. However, it is important to know that in a long run, when it comes to a IT hosting projects longer than 8 months, the total cost of ownership which people pay to use a Dedicated server a significantly higher that if they buy their own machine and colocate it in any data center.

Another thing which anyone should consider when choosing between Dedicated Hosting and Colocation is that if one needs to colocate more servers and want to use its own in-house management, it is a good idea to obtain its own Autonomous System and to consider to be independent of the data center when it comes to IP space and network connectivity.

How Much Data Transfer (Bandwidth) Does Anyone Need?

You never need “Unlimited”. So do not go with any hosting provider just because it claims to offer unlimited. Use this tool to calculate your monthly bandwidth usage – http://web.forret.com/tools/bandwidth.asp. It is important whether you publish content on daily basis, whether you are uploading audio and/or video streams? You should also take into consideration the email service you need. If you send 1 Mb – 5 Mb per day, then you will need at least 200 Mb monthly traffic for your email only.

“Web Hosting” Very Often Means “Shared Hosting”

Virtual Hosting is a technical term used to describe what is best known as “Shared Hosting”. Shared Hosting refers to web hosting service in which many websites are hosted on one physical or virtual server. Each website has its own partition on the server, to keep it separate from other sites.

“Web Hosting” Very Often Means “Linux Hosting”

When you see term “Linux Hosting”, you should know that this is a standard web hosting service. Most websites on the World Wide Web are hosted on Linux powered servers. Unlike consumer computing, where Microsoft Windows and MacOS dominate the market, in the enterprise hosting market Unix/Linux based Operating Systems (OS) “rule” the industry. So when any company offers “Website hosting” or “Web Hosting”, this is a Linux based IT hosting service, by default.

“Web Hosting” Means “cPanel Hosting”

The standard software platform for Shared Hosting is – CentOS (nowadays CloudLinux) operating system and cPanel/WHM hosting automation control panel. Go check cPanel and make yourself know with this hosting automation control panel.

Web Hosting Has To Come With a Excellent Technical Support!

It is very important that any site owner could rely on the customer support one gets from a web hosting provider. Many web hosts claim to have 24/7 support. Make sure the web host offers phone support and chat support via Skype or any other instant messenger.

Read the Web Host’s Terms of Service

The web is full of overselling hosting providers.  Check their Terms of Service to see how do they restrict their customers accounts and use of hosting service. Make sure that the web hosting provider offers “30 days money back guarantee” for Shared Hosting and that you can cancel the account when your subscription expire.

Does The Web Host Operate Its Own AS & Redundant Network?

Redundant network means that the web hosting provider has more than 1 uplink to Internet and is connected to at least two different IP bandwidth providers.

May web hosts are completely dependent of their data centers or on other bigger web hosting providers. Many of the popular Shared hosting provider for example are nothing but Resellers of companies like Softlayer. Sone of the Shared Hosting providers do not own IT infrastructure, do not own their own an Autonomous System (AS), do not operate their own Internet network and even do not own the servers they use to host customer’s accounts. Do you want to be a customer of a web hosting provider like this?

What is IaaS?

December 08, 2015

What is IaaS?

Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) is one of the three fundamental service models of cloud computing alongside Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS). As with all cloud computing services it provides access to computing resource in a virtualised environment, “the Cloud”, across a public connection, usually the internet. In the case of IaaS the computing resource provided is specifically that of virtualised hardware, in other words, computing infrastructure. The definition includes such offerings as virtual server space, network connections, bandwidth, IP addresses and load balancers. Physically, the pool of hardware resource is pulled from a multitude of servers and networks usually distributed across numerous data centers, all of which the cloud provider is responsible for maintaining. The client, on the other hand, is given access to the virtualised components in order to build their own IT platforms.

In common with the other two forms of cloud hosting, IaaS can be utilised by enterprise customers to create cost effective and easily scalable IT solutions where the complexities and expenses of managing the underlying hardware are outsourced to the cloud provider. If the scale of a business customer’s operations fluctuate, or they are looking to expand, they can tap into the cloud resource as and when they need it rather than purchase, install and integrate hardware themselves.

The following are salient examples of how IaaS can be utilised by enterprise:
Enterprise infrastructure; by internal business networks, such as private clouds and virtual local area networks, which utilise pooled server and networking resources and in which a business can store their data and run the applications they need to operate day-to-day. Expanding businesses can scale their infrastructure in accordance with their growth whilst private clouds (accessible only by the business itself) can protect the storage and transfer of the sensitive data that some businesses are required to handle.
Cloud hosting; the hosting of websites on virtual servers which are founded upon pooled resources from underlying physical servers. A website hosted in the cloud, for example, can benefit from the redundancy provided by a vast network of physical servers and on demand scalability to deal with unexpected demands placed on the website.
Virtual Data Centers (VDC); a virtualised network of interconnected virtual servers which can be used to offer enhanced cloud hosting capabilities, enterprise IT infrastructure or to integrate all of these operations within either a private or public cloud implementation.

A typical Infrastructure as a Service offering can deliver the following features and benefits:
Scalability; resource is available as and when the client needs it and, therefore, there are no delays in expanding capacity or the wastage of unused capacity
No investment in hardware; the underlying physical hardware that supports an IaaS service is set up and maintained by the cloud provider, saving the time and cost of doing so on the client side
Utility style costing; the service can be accessed on demand and the client only pays for the resource that they actually use
Location independence; the service can usually be accessed from any location as long as there is an internet connection and the security protocol of the cloud allows it
Physical security of data centre locations; services available through a public cloud, or private clouds hosted externally with the cloud provider, benefit from the physical security afforded to the servers which are hosted within a data centre
No single point of failure; if one server or network switch, for example, were to fail, the broader service would be unaffected due to the remaining multitude of hardware resources and redundancy configurations. For many services if one entire data center were to go offline, nevermind one server, the IaaS service could still run successfully.

What is a Hybrid Cloud?

December 06, 2015
Building a hybrid cloud platform takes planning, it also requires a lot of preparation as well. Hybrid platforms create the possibilities to utilize resources. When you are considering building hybrid cloud solutions strategies, here are a few things that might help you.

To begin building your hybrid cloud solutions you are going to be extending an existing platform into a cloud model, this is considered to be collaboration. To do this you must first conduct an analysis on business impact. With the results of the analysis you will now know how existing workloads that will be merging into the cloud will affect and impact business. Along with the analysis you will also conduct a cloud readiness assessment , which allows you to know if your data and things of that nature are ready for the cloud migration process.

The right hybrid cloud solutions vary depending on your specific business goals, as well as, the challenges your business may face according to it’s needs. How you build your cloud depends on the business, you have to ask and answer some questions in order to find the answers. Questions such as, is there something that needs to evolve or progress in the service delivery aspect?.  You want to find a platform that will work for all of the business needs as well as your private needs. You have to categorize you data and your apps. You have to keep in mind that at any time you open up your private systems to the public it can and may put your security levels at risk. It’s all about what suits you and the company.

It’s always a great idea before making any decisions to talk with other business owners and companies similar in size with similar requirements.  Make a list of questions to ask them about what hybrid cloud solutions worked best for them and which hybrid cloud solutions did not work for them. Talk to them about security and reliability. This gives you information from users who used the hybrid cloud solutions themselves and are not pitching sales talk at you.

If hybrid cloud solutions is new to you and your company do not feel that you have to plunge into it with all you’ve got. Take the time to learn what it is you need to know, start small , maybe choosing a smaller private cloud to get you wherever it is you may need to be with your hybrid cloud solutions.

My last word of advice to you is to choose your vendors carefully. Make sure to ask a lot of questions about their statistics and other companies they may provide for. This will allow you to compare results in order to see if it will suit you and your business well. Take your time figuring out what it is you need from the hybrid cloud solutions you are looking for, because if you don’t know what you need then you don’t know what you are looking for.

What is a Public Cloud?

December 05, 2015
In the early days of cloud computing, many web administrators and online businesses were wary of using this technology. Most of their concerns include the security measures of a remote cloud server, limited storage and bandwidth concerns.

Nowadays, however, many small businesses are slowly making the shift from physical to cloud servers. Here’s why.

Cloud computing primarily refers to the use of a web-based cloud server which serves as a central hub for storing, accessing, and processing information. Aside from data storage,

With cloud computing, end users don’t need to be tied down to a single physical computer server to work on their business—you only need a stable internet connection to access your files anytime, anywhere, using any device. Cloud servers, in essence, turn any business to a virtual office on-the-go.

There are currently three major types of cloud servers you can choose from for your business operations: public, private, and hybrid. However, for small businesses, private or hybrid cloud servers are not really optimal, since these kinds of cloud servers still require a physical installation to host the private cloud server.

The public cloud for business

Public cloud servers are those which are readily accessible and open to all end-users who have internet access. This kind of cloud servers is comprised of multiple shared servers that are connected to a public network connection.

Public cloud services mostly include file storage and software use, while another type of public cloud structure offers cloud-based web development services.

To use a public cloud, end users are usually required to sign up for a free account which comes with free storage space and cloud-based applications for business use. Other public cloud servers offer bigger storage and additional features in exchange for a small monthly or annual premium membership fee.

Examples: Google Drive offers free cloud storage for all your files, accessible across all device platforms, while Google Cloud Platform offers web hosting, cloud applications, and infrastructure-based cloud services. Other examples include Dropbox, Skydrive, and Rackspace.

Advantages of public cloud

Public cloud offers relatively secure storage and information processing since your account is password-protected.

  • It’s also easily scalable depending on your needs—the resources of public cloud servers are vast and readily available in the internet.
  • Basic public cloud services are offered free of charge, which will save businesses thousands of dollars in start-up costs. Instead of hiring an entire team of IT experts to create a physical server, you only need to sign up and port your entire business to the cloud environment.
  • Public cloud environments are more user-friendly than the highly-technical physical server. You don’t need IT-know-how in order to use and manage cloud-based applications.
  • You can keep your business as lean and cost-efficient as possible. Everything you need is available virtually, so you don’t even need a physical office to complete your work.

Disadvantages

Since public cloud servers are open to everyone, you can expect some occasional lags in data retrieval and processing. As more and more businesses utilize these services, some public cloud servers may experience overload in the future, unless they will also expand their servers to accommodate additional users.

You will need a stable and quick internet connection especially if you will be transferring and processing large files.

You might want to upgrade your free account to a premiere one to avail of additional features (including enhanced security) for your business.

Cloud Servers : The Main Benefits of Using Cloud Servers

December 03, 2015
Web hosting is the backbone of the Internet. When a website has been built, the appropriate hosting solution will have to be chosen so that the site’s potential visitors can access the domain. If visitors are unable to access a website or the site is loading too slowly, they will inevitably be a lost lead. This can tarnish a website’s potential greatly. The solution to this problem lies with the hosting that has been chosen. If a server has been purchased or rented for a new site, the owners will ensure that they have the ability to grow, but there will be an immense price attached to this form of hosting.

Cloud Server Hosting

Through the use of a VPS cloud server, it is possible to prepare for growth without having to invest large sums of money into endeavors that are still uncertain. Through the use of cloud server technology, a website will be able to grow without having to experience long bouts of downtime caused by traffic spikes or server migrations. A cloud server will offer scaling abilities that will far outweigh those seen with shared hosting or normal server rentals.

Cloud Server Specifications

Cloud servers are virtualized, clustered servers in which a website is hosted. Unlike normal server configurations, these servers provide immense power that is easy to scale. In fact, most solutions offer a one-click cloud server upgrade solution that takes mere minutes to complete. With a cloud server, a user is able to:

Upgrade their hardware limitations in minutes: It is easy to upgrade from a server with 512 MB of RAM to one that has 12 GB of RAM in mere minutes.

Monitoring is possible: There are many cloud monitoring solutions that will instantly scale-up or scale-down a server based on the current server load.

Cloud Server Pricing

One of the main advantages of a cloud server is that it will allow for immense cost savings. There are two main methods of pricing within the industry: monthly and pay-as-you-go. The latter is going to provide the utmost in cost savings as it will allow the customer to only pay for what they have used. The pricing of a low cost cloud server is as follows:
  •  Every tier of a cloud server will have an hourly rate
  •  A server can be upgraded to a higher tier for one hour and switched to a lower tier the next
  • The time that a tier is used will dictate the overall pricing
If a website has seen a spike in traffic, the server can be upgraded for the duration of the traffic spike. Perhaps a blog post has went viral and for 2 hours the server has been upgraded to a plan that requires 12GB of RAM and 8 CPU cores. This may cost $0.5 per hour. Being on a pay-as-you-go plan means that the cloud server price will fluctuate based on usage. Normally, a server of this magnitude would cost several hundreds of dollars a month to rent. However, being on the cloud enables a site to use this powerful setup for a mere $1 and scale-down when the initial traffic influx has decreased. A VPS cloud server is both an economical and smart way to ensure that a website can be scaled to a more powerful setup without interruptions.

Even if you have a small office or firm, there are thousands of files that will come along the way. Whether you prefer soft or hard copy, you need to back it up with a reliable storage. Today people and businesses are realizing the benefits of using online cloud storage. If you’re new to this, here are the reasons that will convert yourself to a believer:

1.       Affordable Backup

You can take advantage of online cloud storage to handle the management of your files. You don’t have to extend your budget in order to make a room for another storage space or employees. There are cloud storage websites online that you can maximize. Others can place reasonable rates depending on your storage needs. However, some website provides free storage that you can make much use of.

2.       Ease and Convenience

You don’t have to exert too much effort to be able to get to your files. You don’t have to waste your time finding a missing document. You can find convenience and ease in handling all important information for your business through online cloud storage. In this way, you can also provide fast and reliable services to your customers.

3.       Availability of Service

There are cloud service providers everywhere. Just type it in on search engines and you’ll be provided with the list of companies that you can contact to avail their services. Again, this depends on your storage needs. If you need light to moderate space, you can take advantage of the free cloud storage websites.

The availability of cloud storage is a mind opener to businesses, small to medium, which they can save and focus on their task. More importantly, it is a portable storage that you can open wherever you are, provided that you have stable internet connection.

4.       Security and Safety

When you secure your files and whatnot on your computer, you cannot retrieve it easily when it crashed or corrupted. Soft copies are important, most especially if it is the only copy that you have for a specific need. You can utilize cloud storage online as a backup source. You don’t have to be stressed out when such scenarios take place since your files are safe online.

The problem with hard copies is that it can get lost or robbed easily. Information plays significant role in many offices and firms. But what contradicts it is the grand data theft that happens this modern day. You can secure your files on cloud storage websites.

There are a lot of ways of how you can utilize the cloud as backup storage. You can use it when you go and about elsewhere you need to report or present a document to a client. It is definitely that can make your job lighter and manageable.

One major tip that you must work on is organizing your files. With cloud storage websites, all you have to do is organize it by folder and label it correctly. If you manage to do so, everything will be easy breezy for you and your business.

What is Cloud Hosting?

December 02, 2015

Finally when you set your mind to build your own website, the first thing that strikes your mind is the name of your website, but the next thing is obviously where to host your website. This guide exclusively teaches web hosting for beginners. But if you are a veteran, it still holds treasure for you, especially if you are too much upset with your current host. Let’s begin.

Selecting the right web hosting company is probably the biggest decision that any online marketer has to make in his business life. Be it a first time purchase or shifting to other hosting company, the choice is too many and enough to make one utterly confused.

Before I suggest you any specific web hosting company (and you assume that I am blatantly promoting any company), allow me to discuss the pointers that you must evaluate while choosing the right web hosting company.

Backup Plans

No one expects bad things to happen and that’s why they are called accidents. But if one occurs, how much preparation your web hosting company has with it anyway? For example, if their main datacenter is hit by a severe power failure, do they have additional emergency power supply?

If they are hit by hackers or a deadly virus, can their datacenters be ready to roll? You should never hesitate to ask such questions before you book your hosting company for your website. After all, your internet business depends on how they are going to keep your website up and running.

Flexible Options

It’s useless to pay for what you actually do not need. So is true when it comes to web hosting. It may be quite possible that you need to host a single domain and thus you are not really looking for hosting service for multiple domains.

On the other hand, it may be possible that you are looking for some advanced features like dedicated IP address, or SSL certificates or something more. Quite obviously, you need a specialized web hosting service for that.

So, you must look for reliable web hosting service that offers flexible options and not just same and single feature for all businesses.

Customer Support and Technical Assistance

How good their customer service is? How experienced their technical assistance team is? All these aspects play vital roles. But unless you use their service, how do you know that? Well, an easy way is of course you can visit forums and ask opinion from fellow members on customer support and technical assistance.

User Interface

How easy it is to use? Any reputed and reliable web hosting company will be more than glad to allow their prospective buyers to try the demo, so that users can experience how easy it is to use the user interface even without buying the service.

What is Cloud Computing?

December 01, 2015
If you ask enterprise IT experts they will tell you that cloud computing is a solution that helps companies increase productivity while reducing the cost of IT infrastructure. Other individuals will say that cloud computing offers you an alternative source for storing your data, photos, and important files in the event your PC crashes.  Another group of people will say that cloud computing provides you with a wide range of access to software and hardware applications which are available on a ‘pay as you go’ basis.

So, is There a Universal Definition or Answer for the Question – What is Cloud Computing?
If one were to define cloud computing in the universal sense of the word, it involves the use of the Internet which is commonly referred to as “the cloud” to run software and hardware applications and store important data for backup and disaster recovery.

Up until the inception of cloud computing the end user ran applications directly from a PC. In the case of a business or large company IT servers are setup and configured to handle all business needs.  Cloud computing has changed this configuration by moving the applications to a remote server which is still accessed by the company over the Internet but maintained by a remote cloud computing service provider.

How Google Platform as a Service Works

When you establish access to the cloud computing services provided by Google you can collaborate with multiple users anywhere in the world.  You even have access to important business data while you are traveling and if you relocate to another area of the world. First, let’s talk about some of the general ways Google creates versatility for a wide range of cloud computing services while addressing concerns about computing security issues.

Google Groups:  Google Groups on the Google cloud computing platform is geared toward businesses who wish to have a private cloud which requires user authentication to access the group.  This allows designated employees for a specific company to collaborate as well as create and manage their own groups.  This portion of the Google cloud computing platform is free and is designed to increase employee productivity through sharing of Google Apps for Business such as calendars, websites, documents, and other apps which can be archived for future reference.

Security-Specific Cloud Computing:  A number of clients who are using the Google cloud computing platform are government agencies which means that confidentiality is an absolute must.  Google offers apps for government organizations using the cloud computing platform that are security-specific to the purpose of the organization.  The apps help government agencies and organizations to ensure security of information and intelligence specific to the agency.

Multiple Versions of Google Chrome Web Browser:  Google offers its own web browser which interacts with the cloud server.  Google Chrome is suitable for individual users of the cloud computing platform that wish to collaborate with friends in the sharing of documents, photos, digital music, and other casual uses for cloud computing.  Google Chrome for Business is more geared toward businesses and companies that wish to collaborate in the cloud.  This version of Google Chrome also provides IT administrators with an interface to control the private cloud computing environment for companies that require authentication for access.

Chrome Operating System:  Chrome OS is Google’s own operating system that integrates with the cloud computing platform.  Devices that run on Chrome OS have a faster startup and response as well as immediate access to cloud computing applications from the desktop of the device.  The apps are readily available in Chrome OS with all collaborative data and information stored in the cloud for enhanced security.

Cloud Computing Microsoft – System Center 2012
System Center 2012 is an upgraded version of the previous System Center and allows businesses to create and manage their own private cloud.  This allows the companies to offer business apps over both a private cloud and a public cloud as a service by combining eight different products into a single solution.

There are two different versions of System Center 2012 which includes the Standard version which offers the basic office cloud and the Datacenter version which allows an infinite number of virtual machines under the Microsoft Datacenter version license.  This allows clients to create their own private cloud minus the costs associated with licensing.  This virtualization model mimics companies such as VMware that provide virtualization services to small, medium-sized, and large companies.

Virtual Machine Manager

Virtual Machine Manager is a primary component of Microsoft System Center 2012 since the service is being developed to the point that it can be considered a comprehensive virtual datacenter manager.  Virtual Machine Manager is capable of handling a lot of tasks that are typically delegated to an IT pro such as the capability to accomplish bare-metal installations on new hardware as well as initiate new Hyper-V applications which allow a guest virtual machine to tap into host services with the host handling the request close to the bare-metal which enhances performance.  In the past, Hyper-Vs could not be created and instead were simply managed and now it has been expanded to include Citrix XenServer which allows you to improve business continuity through datacenter automation processes.

In terms of virtual machines the applications that run on a VM have support integration for SQL data acquisition and other data packages.  You can also install more than one virtual machine and then configure them to operate as a single unit.  Virtual Machine Manager is also compatible with Windows Server Update to provide security patching over the network and within clusters which creates a convenient virtual centralized functionality.

The strongest aspect of Virtual Machine Manager is its capability to establish a private cloud with a self-service portal.  The cloud data infrastructure itself is extracted from the architecture of the user and at the same time allows users to install their own virtual machines, applications, and cloud services.  This means that Virtual Machine Manager maintains the characteristics which are apparent in a public cloud where the end user can create their own services with no contact with complex infrastructures.

Microsoft Dynamics

For companies that want to maintain customer retention Microsoft Dynamics CRM works with Microsoft cloud services and Office 365.  It is a web-based subscription service in the cloud that provides businesses with advanced services for improved customer relationship management.  When it is combined with Microsoft System Center and other Microsoft cloud products it creates a dynamic mix of servers and tools for taking care of all responsibilities associated with customer care and retention.

Office 365

Microsoft Office 365 takes the client-based office applications such as Microsoft Office, Exchange, and SharePoint produced by Microsoft and moves them to the cloud.  Office 365 consists of MS Office Professional Plus, Microsoft Exchange Online and Microsoft Lync and SharePoint Online.  It consists of the same client-based desktop applications Microsoft is known for except they are delivered in a collaborative environment via the Microsoft cloud.  Office 365 cuts the costs of email and collaboration in half when compared to operating these services over Exchange servers on the premises.

Windows Azure

Windows Azure works with Microsoft datacenters to enable users to create applications using multiple languages, a broad range of tools and different types of framework.  The application can be created and then managed across Microsoft datacenters and be integrated within your current IT infrastructure as well as any public cloud apps.

If your company requires applications with high availability you can create and manage these without having to worry about complex infrastructure.  The network load balance is built into Windows Azure with automated operating system patching for security.  You can also upgrade the application at any time without having to endure a lot of downtime.

Once your applications are created, Windows Azure also provides for scalability to allow you to make modifications according to the business requirements for your company.  It only takes a short time to scale applications and you can expand or diminish your resources as deemed necessary.  Microsoft makes Windows Azure available in its datacenters around the globe to make creating and managing business applications easy and convenient.
